Dubai: Dubai is set to hit a major milestone with the introduction of the Middle East’s very first professional baseball park. Located in The Sevens sports and entertainment complex on Al-Ain Road, this groundbreaking stadium will be a game-changer for the sport across a 10,000 km stretch, from Morocco to India.
Stadium highlights
The Baseball United Ballpark, a name pending final approval, will accommodate 6,500 fans with cutting-edge features. The dual-fibre synthetic turf is engineered to handle Dubai’s intense heat, while an eye-popping 15 million lumens of LED lighting and advanced BallTracker tech will ensure every game is seen crystal clear.
Modern Classic
Inspired by the iconic Yankee Stadium, this venue will feature dimensions of 318 feet to left field, 314 feet to right field, and a deep 408 feet to center field. The blend of old-school charm with a traditional scoreboard and a sleek LED content wall promises a unique fan experience. Modular seating means fans will enjoy a front-row view of every thrilling moment.

Kash Shaikh, Chairman, CEO, and Co-founder of Baseball United, sees the new stadium as pivotal for baseball’s growth in the region. He is quoted by Time Out Dubai as, “We’ve curated the best of baseball to make it the next big sport in the Middle East and South Asia." “This ballpark will be the launchpad for professional baseball, blending cutting-edge tech with a rich tradition," said Kash.

This November, Dubai will host an international baseball tournament with teams from the UAE, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Nepal. Then, in February, get ready for an electrifying cup competition featuring former MLB stars and local talent, followed by a full league season.
